Inspired by Mick and Bianca Jagger, Lockwood was particularly influenced by Bianca's iconic 1970s all-white smoking suit wedding outfit, exploring her style from "1pm to 5am".

At just 23, Lockwood outshone hundreds of competitors to become Riccardo Tisci's protégé at Burberry. As a womenswear runway designer, he created boundary-pushing pieces that embodied Tisci's "sexier, more summery, more wearable" vision. His designs included standout items like bright orange logo suit jackets and leather bustier jumpsuits. This experience paved the way for his work at Saint Laurent and Givenchy in Paris from 2018 to 2019, where he further honed his runway design skills.
