Matteo Domenichetti is an Italian print designer whose work has garnered significant attention at Gucci. With a rich skill set spanning fashion design, graphic design, art direction, video editing, and pattern cutting, Domenichetti has made an indelible mark on the luxury fashion industry. His career began in 2016 as a design assistant at Proenza Schouler in New York, where he honed his craft in the heart of the fashion world.
In April 2017, Domenichetti joined Gucci as a print designer, a role that has defined his career. His innovative prints have revitalized the brand's visual identity, bringing fresh energy and creativity. In May 2018, Domenichetti collaborated with renowned artist Maurizio Cattelan on the Chinese exhibition "The Artist is Present," where he created the title and slogan, seamlessly blending fashion and art. This collaboration solidified his reputation for visionary design and cross-disciplinary innovation.
One of Domenichetti's notable projects is "Myceliuminds," co-conceived with Milovan Farronato and featuring artists like Goshka Macuga, Camille Henrot, and Enrico David.
