A 2 time Vogue Talents Italy honoree, Sha Sha Wong earned her bachelor's from London College of Fashion before completing her master's in Women's Knitwear at Royal College of Art. Her graduate collection caught the attention of Vogue Italy, resonating with contemporary women through its blend of softness and inner strength.
Founded in Shanghai in 2018, Swaying/knit reflects Wong's dedication to knitwear innovation. The brand name stems from the swaying motion in knitting production, symbolizing the flowing, relaxed aesthetic of her pieces. Her design philosophy centers on creative yarn expressions, skillfully interweaving different threads with unique craftsmanship to develop distinct textures and silhouettes. She consistently pushes knitwear boundaries by integrating woven elements.
